Ms. Chapman has over 30 years of investment experience, with more than 25 years in private equity investing.  Prior to joining WPGP, she was a Director at WestAM, responsible for their venture capital portfolio, and also a member of the investment committee.  Prior to WestAM, she was a Director of the Private Markets Group of FLI.  She managed the $600 million venture capital and leveraged buyout portfolio for the pension fund of GM/Hughes Electronics (“GM/Hughes”) for over 14 years before joining FLI.  While at GM/Hughes, she invested in first-time funds, small partnerships and co-investments.  She began her career at GM Hughes as a public equity analyst following technology stocks.  Previously, she was associated with The Capital Group in research and trading.  Ms. Chapman is a member of the CFA Society of Los Angeles and the CFA Institute.  She received her M.B.A. in finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in journalism, magna cum laude, from Pepperdine University.
